Requirements

  • Strong interest in secure, highly scalable, multi-region hosted backend systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of system architectures, network protocols, and operating systems
  • Profound expertise in configuration and maintenance of cloud platform services using Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with common DevOps technologies
  • Skills in application firewall configuration, including rate limitations and bot detection rules
  • Good knowledge of programming languages, especially Node.js and document-based databases
  • Experience in cross-functional teams within agile enterprise environments
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain highly available backend systems on GCP
  • Influence solution architecture following enterprise principles and coding standards
  • Ensure efficient delivery of the product backlog
  • Manage the backlog with a focus on technical debt and product quality
  • Improve and automate processes using Infrastructure as Code
  • Advocate for technology best practices and ensure adherence by product teams
  • Support product teams with cloud services, web security, and CI pipelines
  • Participate actively in the technical community for Cloud competency
