Enterprise Architect(m/w/x)
Designing, evolving Enterprise Architecture Management; establishing governance for a global non-profit in sustainable forestry. Strong Enterprise Architecture Management expertise, TOGAF certification highly desirable. 30 vacation days yearly, hybrid working structure.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or comparable field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture Management
- Knowledge of common frameworks, data architecture principles, methodologies
- TOGAF certification highly desirable
- Curiosity and holistic understanding of business, application, data, and infrastructure architecture
- Ability to simplify complexity and communicate architectural concepts clearly
- Proven experience leading/contributing to complex IT initiatives
- Experience in agile or scaled-agile environments desirable
- 8+ years experience as Enterprise Architect
- 4+ years experience in architecture/technical leadership roles
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
- Proactive, independent, and structured way of working
Tasks
- Design and implement Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM)
- Continuously evolve Enterprise Architecture practice
- Establish architecture governance, KPIs, and committee structures
- Provide regular reports to technology leadership
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, guidelines, and standards
- Cover business, application, data, and infrastructure layers
- Advise senior management on architectural strategy
- Advise technology leadership on digital and technology strategy decisions
- Develop and maintain a future-oriented enterprise architecture roadmap
- Align roadmap with corporate and IT strategy
- Translate strategic business requirements into architectural patterns
- Create cost-effective, scalable, and standardized architectural patterns
- Reduce fragmentation through architectural patterns
- Drive automation, self-service, and re-usability
- Own and validate architecture blueprints
- Manage EAM tools, modeling, and integration standards
- Define data services standards and best practices
- Monitor market and emerging technology trends
- Identify opportunities and potential partners proactively
- Evolve FSC’s platforms, tools, and development approaches
- Assess architectural maturity across the organization
- Assess technical debt across the organization
- Propose improvement initiatives independently
- Propose groundbreaking initiatives independently
- Ensure architectural compliance across internal teams
- Ensure architectural alignment across internal teams
- Ensure architectural compliance with external providers
- Ensure architectural alignment with external providers
- Represent the architecture function in cross-functional working groups
- Represent the architecture function in steering committees
