Technical customer support and project launches from samples to mass production for automotive suppliers. Bachelor's degree in engineering with mechanics or electronics knowledge required. Home office 3 days/week, 30 days holiday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering with mechanics or electronics knowledge
  • Independent work ability
  • Negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Japanese OR English and German

Tasks

  • Support sales team with technical customer inquiries
  • Execute project launches from functional samples to mass production
  • Serve as technical liaison between customer and Japan engineering teams
  • Conduct regular web conferences and meetings with customers and Japan team
  • Accompany sales team on customer visits
  • Inspect returned products for quality claims
  • Prepare 8D reports for quality issues
  • Source components from European suppliers
  • Enhance local added value of products
  • Support expansion of local R&D functions
  • Collaborate with Japan team to benchmark competitor products
  • Participate in trade exhibitions
  • Evaluate customer customization requests
  • Prepare proposals for technical customizations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Languages

  • English – Fluent
  • Japanese – Fluent
  • German – Fluent

  • Microsoft Office
  • ERP-System (Microsoft business central)
