- Drive technical and organizational improvements
- Reduce legacy overhead and improve tooling
- Foster shared ownership and sustainable delivery practices
- Shape roadmap priorities with the PM
- Ensure trade-offs are well understood
- Account for compliance requirements and AI features
- Maintain high standards for verification systems
- Ensure observable and controlled flows
- Guarantee reliable, traceable, and auditable AI components
- Develop engineers through regular 1:1s
- Provide direct feedback and stretch opportunities
- Build a team with strong technical and product judgment
