- Oversee career development, retention, and internal mobility
- Coach engineers from intern to principal levels
- Foster a culture of trust and psychological safety
- Partner with Lead Software Engineers on technical direction
- Improve team clarity, collaboration, and staffing
- Measure engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics and throughput
- Analyze cycle time, sprint predictability, and incident load
- Drive meaningful retrospectives and incident follow-ups
- Remove recurring blockers to improve developer experience
- Manage end-to-end hiring and structured interview processes
- Ensure strong onboarding and sustainable team ramp-up
- Translate company goals into realistic execution plans
