Requirements

  • •Experience supporting SRE, DevOps, or platform teams
  • •Understanding of SRE principles: SLI/SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction
  • •Hands-on experience with observability stack (Datadog, ELK) and production systems
  • •Deep empathy for developer workflows and sustainable on-call processes
  • •Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes
  • •Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and reliability integration
  • •Understanding of Azure cloud services and multi-cloud transformations
  • •Warm communication skills for incident support and cross-team collaboration
  • •Experience with authentication systems (Okta, EntraID) and system reliability
  • •Commitment to building inclusive teams balancing operational care and innovation
  • •Appreciation for AI-assisted tools in operational efficiency
  • •Background with databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) and reliability considerations
  • •Experience with multi-cloud architectures and distributed systems

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Build and nurture a supportive team focused on SRE excellence and developer experience
  • •Collaborate to establish SRE practices, including SLI/SLOs, error budgets, and trust-based postmortems using Datadog metrics
  • •Create comprehensive observability strategies utilizing the monitoring stack
  • •Support sustainable incident response and on-call processes, automating with GitHub Actions and Terraform to improve MTTR
  • •Partner with engineers to integrate reliability practices into CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions while promoting developer wellbeing
  • •Foster the adoption of reliability best practices across Kubernetes-based infrastructure through mentorship and collaboration
  • •Guide teams in effectively leveraging the Azure cloud platform while preparing for multi-cloud architectures
  • •Support the thoughtful adoption of AI tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot for enhanced operational efficiency
