- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Subsea Engineering, or related technical field
- 7–10 years of experience in subsea cable engineering and manufacturing
- Experience with international cable suppliers and manufacturing management
- Knowledge of offshore cable design and standards
- Experience with cable qualification and FAT procedures
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with interface management and risk tracking
- Structured and task‑oriented approach
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites
Tasks
- Lead engineering and fabrication for cable systems
- Ensure alignment with technical standards and contracts
- Manage interfaces between internal teams and suppliers
- Coordinate with contract managers, certifiers, and QA
- Oversee design documentation and qualification activities
- Manage FAT and SAT procedures for compliance
- Monitor fabrication schedules and supplier performance
- Resolve production deviations and risks proactively
- Approve technical documents and manufacturing plans
- Ensure robust quality and material traceability
- Coordinate handover readiness for transport and installation
