Performing safety analysis and deriving requirements for advanced automotive systems using FTA, FMEA, and STPA. MSc/PhD or equivalent automotive system/software safety engineering experience required. Healthy meals provided, with extensive training opportunities.

Requirements

  • MSc. or PhD. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent automotive system/software safety engineering experience
  • Profound practical experience in FuSa and SOTIF engineering, including ISO26262, ISO21448, HARA, FTA, FMEA, STPA, residual risk quantification, and other state-of-the-art methods
  • Familiarity with L2+/NCAP regulations and requirements, safety challenges and solutions, and applicable safety standards
  • Hands-on attitude and positive engagement for high-performance team integration
  • Proficiency in English
  • German and/or Chinese knowledge are an advantage

Tasks

  • Conduct safety analysis of advanced automotive systems
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative FTA, FMEA, and STPA analysis
  • Derive safety requirements from analysis results
  • Align safety requirements with stakeholders
  • Design functional and technical safety concepts
  • Address behavior and architecture limitations
  • Review safety engineering work products
