Requirements
- •Understanding of embedded systems architecture
- •Experience with microcontrollers and SoCs
- •Familiarity with drivers and firmware
- •Experience with black/white box testing
- •Understanding of verification and validation
- •Experience with embedded test automation
- •Knowledge of various testing methodologies
- •Experience with SIL, HIL, and system testing
- •Understanding of IEC 62304 processes
- •Experience verifying ISO 14971 measures
- •Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements
- •Familiarity with FDA and EU MDR
- •Experience supporting internal/external audits
- •Git or Gitlab knowledge (Desirable)
- •Knowledge of RTOS (Desirable)
- •Exposure to medical device cybersecurity (Desirable)
- •Collaborative and hands-on team orientation
- •Independent and self-directed work style
- •Experience in specifying software
- •Strong documentation and writing skills
- •Fluent English and basic German (Desirable)
Work Experience
approx. 1 - 4 years
Tasks
- •Plan and execute software verification
- •Perform unit, integration, and system testing on embedded platforms
- •Derive test cases from software requirements and architecture
- •Verify software risk control measures for ISO 14971 compliance
- •Ensure bidirectional traceability between requirements, risks, and results
- •Participate in design reviews and software documentation audits
- •Support change impact analysis and regression testing
