Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of experience in embedded software development for SoC- or HPC-based systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with QNX OS, hypervisor technologies, or comparable RTOS/Linux-based platform environments
  • Familiarity with system bring-up, boot chains, virtualization concepts, and performance-oriented platform integration on complex SoCs
  • Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project context
  • Enjoyment of working in distributed, international platform teams
  • Fluent English communication
  • Advantageous German language skills

Tasks

  • Build software foundation for high-performance automotive platforms
  • Work with QNX OS and virtualization technologies
  • Enable scalable, safe, and high-performing vehicle architectures
  • Bring up boards and integrate operating systems
  • Deliver core platform functionality for complex SoC-based systems
  • Support SoC and HPC bring-up
  • Implement boot chains
  • Ensure stable system startup from early firmware to OS level
  • Configure and integrate QNX OS and QNX Hypervisor features
  • Enable virtualization and mixed-criticality system setups
  • Work with system, safety, and integration teams
  • Debug and optimize end-to-end platform solutions
  • Deliver integrated platform solutions
