Tasks

  • •Develop electro-mechanical designs for multi-branch avionics harness in 2D and 3D
  • •Collaborate with cross-disciplinary stakeholders to gather design objectives and requirements
  • •Create and release electrical schematics for flight and ground test designs on schedule
  • •Specify and select connectors, backshells, wires, cable jackets, and termination methods
  • •Conduct analysis and physical testing of harnessing systems for performance evaluation
  • •Generate and manage BOMs, wire run lists, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings
  • •Work with integration teams to validate harness fit, routing, and installation
  • •Support functional testing and troubleshooting during vehicle integration and flight readiness
  • •Perform R&D investigations and trade studies for mass and cost savings in wire harness design
  • •Take ownership of flight-quality documentation and interface compliance
