Electrical Engineer, Senior II(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable technical field, or equivalent qualification with strong hardware expertise
- Several years of professional experience in electrical/electronic hardware development, ideally in battery management systems or comparable complex electronic systems
- Several years of professional experience in development, setup, and application of hardware test capabilities, including validation and verification
- Sound experience in development of complex electronic systems, ideally in automotive or comparable environments
- Practical experience in design and application of EE development processes as EE hardware engineer, in accordance with ASPICE principles
- Strong understanding of analog digital signal processing concepts
- Experience with system analysis, validation, and hardware-related quality methods
- Structured and analytical working style, proactive problem-solving mindset
- Good communication skills, experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in functional guidance, technical mentoring, or acting as technical reference within electrical engineering hardware domain
Tasks
- Design complex electrical and electronic systems
- Conduct requirements analysis and create specifications
- Develop schematics and layouts
- Own technical solutions, selecting components and technologies
- Make technical decisions within assigned scope
- Perform system analyses and simulations
- Evaluate results and derive technical improvements
- Plan and coordinate test activities
- Define test concepts and supervise test setups
- Interpret test results
- Define and execute quality assurance analyses
- Conduct FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, and failure investigations
- Derive corrective and preventive actions
- Support product development and series production
- Analyze complaints and warranties
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions
- Contribute to project activities
- Estimate effort and track progress
- Provide escalation support
- Improve development processes, methods, and tools
- Maintain structured technical documentation
