Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-7 years of employment experience
- Technical degree in engineering or related
- Professional experience in technical EHS environment
- Certified Occupational Safety Specialist qualification
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Experience in LOTO and machine safety
- Analytical mindset and hands-on mentality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good German and English skills
Tasks
- Implement complex safety and environmental tasks
- Inspect workplaces and machinery for compliance
- Advise employees on ergonomic workplace design
- Support and document detailed risk assessments
- Coordinate safety measures with stakeholders
- Initiate improvements for existing safety equipment
- Inform departments about applicable safety regulations
- Maintain documentation on updated procedures
- Analyze root causes of workplace accidents
- Select and test personal protective equipment
- Conduct regular site and workplace inspections
- Create and deliver EHS training sessions
- Develop new safety and environmental systems
- Design hazard protection for new equipment
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations
- Develop site-specific Lockout/Tagout programs
- Oversee LOTO procedures during maintenance
- Evaluate and approve technical LOTO systems
- Maintain ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 systems
- Perform internal audits for management systems
