Description

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including planning and executing health studies, publishing results, and presenting findings. Your work will support market access strategies and involve collaboration with diverse teams and research partners.

Requirements

• •Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, or related field
• •Strong academic background in quantitative research methods
• •Several years of professional experience in health economics, epidemiology, or outcomes research
• •Experience in pharmaceutical/vaccine industry or academic research
• •Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
• •Experience in study design and execution, and in project management
• •Strong methodological expertise in epidemiology and/or health economics
• •Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in R programming or other statistical software would be beneficial
• •Experience with secondary data analyses (claims data, EMR data)
• •Knowledge of health economic modeling techniques
• •Understanding of the German healthcare system and reimbursement landscape
• •Familiarity with HTA processes and evidence requirements
• •Knowledge of infectious diseases (desirable)
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• •Excellent communication and presentation skills
• •Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• •Project management and organizational skills
• •Strategic thinking and ability to translate research into actionable insights
• •Stakeholder management capabilities

• •Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Tasks

• •Plan, design, and execute epidemiological and health economic studies
• •Conduct literature and systematic reviews
• •Perform secondary data analyses using statutory health insurance routine data and EMR data
• •Develop and apply mathematical and decision-analytic models
• •Design and implement surveys
• •Publish study results in peer-reviewed journals
• •Present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including at scientific conferences
• •Support market access strategies with evidence-based insights
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research partners
• •Manage external service providers and research collaborations
