Requirements
- Higher education in computer science, physics, computer engineering, IT, mathematics, or equivalent
- At least three years technical work experience or education/experience combination
- Advanced Python knowledge and scientific libraries
- Git familiarity and GitLab/GitHub project experience with automated testing
- Knowledge of C++ or JavaScript, or workflow automation tools (advantage)
- Familiarity with Containerization, Kubernetes, DIRAC, or Rucio (bonus)
- Familiarity with low-level data processing of imaging air Cherenkov telescopes (desirable)
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in international, multi-cultural, distributed, complex project environment
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and scientific information
- Excellent writing and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and command of English
Tasks
- Develop and maintain DPPS common software
- Contribute to DPPS integration and verification testing
- Integrate DPPS into the full CTAO Computing system
- Review contributions from DPPS developers and external collaborators
- Support DPPS subsystem development and usage of common software
- Participate in DPPS test campaigns with other Computing systems and CTAO telescopes
