Requirements
- •At least 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role with a clear focus on the Java ecosystem
- •Solid experience working with eCommerce applications or frameworks, preferably SAP Commerce (CCv2), Spryker, commerce tools, Oracle Commerce, etc.
- •Experience in designing, creating and working with microservices in complex cloud architectures (e.g., Azure, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, REST)
- •Experience in working with relational and non-relational databases
- •Firm understanding and practical experience in tools and processes to ensure software quality, such as Unit Tests, TDD and Test Automation
- •Experience in working in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, ideally including CI/CD and DevOps practices
- •Many years of experience in working with Agile Product Development processes
- •Good understanding of processes and use-cases of transactional businesses like eCommerce
- •Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international environment
- •Strong communication skills and very good English skills (spoken/written)
- •Mindset focused on delivery and on continuous improvement
- •Experience in training and mentoring fellow engineers to help them grow

- •Develop and expand the e-commerce platform
- •Focus on creating stable, scalable, and high-quality software
- •Implement quality assurance measures, including code reviews
- •Design and develop modern backend REST APIs within a micro-service architecture
- •Collaborate with product management to understand customer needs
- •Take responsibility for technical concepts and their timely implementation
- •Act as a consultant and coordinate with other departments
- •Maintain close contact with IT colleagues to ensure platform performance
- •Expand knowledge and engage in discussions with other developers
- •Participate in developer meetings and workshops
