- Practical electrochemical characterization skills
- Foundational data analysis and statistics capability
- High ownership and independence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Business fluent English
- Structured, analytical work style
- German language skills are an advantage
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn
Tasks
- Develop sodium-specific three-electrode diagnostic platform
- Enable real-time, electrode-resolved monitoring of SIBs
- Accelerate materials development for sodium-ion batteries
- Support safe fast-charging optimization
- Combine electrode-resolved potential monitoring with advanced diagnostics
- Use impedance spectroscopy with DRT analysis
- Apply voltage relaxation protocols
- Utilize complementary techniques like X-ray/neutron CT
- Improve understanding of sodium plating during fast charging
- Detect sodium plating under challenging conditions
- Collaborate with professor to determine doctoral thesis topic
- Obtain confirmation of supervision and topic from authorized professor
