Director Sales & Marketing EMEA(m/w/x)
Leading EMEA sales and marketing for semiconductor components, managing a $250M+ revenue budget. Regional sales management experience required. Direct and indirect team leadership across diverse geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (business, engineering, or related field preferred)
- 10+ years in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, OEM, and/or Tier 1 automotive environments (automotive sensors and EV experience preferred)
- Regional Sales Management level experience
- Proven experience managing annual sales revenue budget >$250M
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed direct and indirect teams
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate market/financial insights into action
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic and global key account management
- Proven pricing negotiation experience
- Experience negotiating contracts and partnering with Legal teams
- Deep knowledge of electronic components and systems, applied through collaborative, solution-based selling
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a global, matrixed organisation
- Proven capability in strategic selling, P&L management, key account acquisition/retention, strategic partnerships, pricing strategy, business development (including M&A exposure)
- Guiding and scaling team members through coaching and mentoring
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and other CRM tools preferred
Tasks
- Lead the team to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
- Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships
- Own and refresh customer account plans and strategies
- Manage pipeline and performance in Salesforce
- Review sales performance for revenue growth and new opportunities
- Manage and measure the demand-creation pipeline
- Identify, negotiate, and close complex deals with corporate customers
- Represent TE professionally with customers and industry stakeholders
- Provide leadership and coaching for the EMEA Key Account Transportation sales team
- Develop and convert a healthy growth pipeline
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team
- Develop team capability through coaching and development plans
- Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable
- Lead through influence and collaborate in a virtual, global environment
- Own commercial responsibility for TE Sensors Transportation customers
- Define and drive the regional growth strategy
- Set ambitious growth budgets and manage customer forecasts
- Contribute to global strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional execution of customer programs and projects
- Provide Voice of the Customer input for process improvements and product development
