Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration with project management focus
- Proven experience in leading complex programs and release cycles in software development
- Strong leadership skills and team management
- Deep understanding of program and release management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Ability to work under time pressure in business critical situations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Strategic mindset with hands-on approach
- 5+ years of strong project management skills including risk management
- Advanced English knowledge (C1 Level)
- Experience with Agile Methodologies for Software Development
- Experience with Agile and/or hybrid project environments
- Experience in managing international teams or working in a global organization
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar
Tasks
- Provide strategic leadership for program and release management activities
- Define and implement standards and processes for project execution
- Oversee planning and execution of interdependent software development projects
- Ensure alignment between program goals and product roadmaps
- Manage resource allocations and priorities across projects
- Guide Program and Release Managers in resolving cross-functional challenges
- Establish effective program governance and decision-making processes
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess program success
- Report status, risks, and escalations to senior leadership
- Ensure timely decisions and corrective actions are taken
- Foster collaboration across technical teams and business units
- Manage escalations from the installed base and coordinate actions
- Structure communication channels for regular updates on escalations
- Publish root cause analyses on escalations and implement corrective actions
