Description

As a Production Director, you will lead the production department, manage teams, and collaborate with site leadership to enhance processes. This role involves ensuring compliance, optimizing performance, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• •University degree (MSc or equivalent) in biology, (bio-)process engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering sciences, or comparable field
• •Min. 7 years of experience in a strategic leadership role
• •Strong knowledge of vaccine production and regulatory requirements (GMP)
• •Proven skills in stakeholder and change management
• •Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
• •Outstanding leadership competencies: strategic mindset, passion for people management, empathy, assertiveness, and role model behavior
• •Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and a solution-oriented, structured approach

Tasks

• •Directly manage Process Team Leaders
• •Oversee and develop teams in vaccine production
• •Collaborate with site leadership and cross-functional departments
• •Co-shape and execute the overall production strategy
• •Initiate and implement improvement projects for operational excellence
• •Focus on digitalization and innovation in production processes
• •Ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements
• •Plan capacity and resources effectively
• •Analyze and optimize key process indicators like productivity and quality
• •Review and approve batch documentation
• •Maintain responsibility for manufacturing instructions and SOPs
• •Promote a high-performance corporate culture
• •Advance leadership capabilities of Process Team Leaders
• •Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
