Requirements
- Senior, very experienced
- Several years senior experience in portfolio management, strategy, market analysis, or corporate development, preferably within biosimilars and generics
- Demonstrated market-specific knowledge and network in biosimilars
- Proven track record in building and defending business cases for investment and strategic decisions
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate confidently across many functions in a mid-sized organization
- High degree of ownership and self-responsibility, paired with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of structuring and presenting complex topics to senior stakeholders
- Practical experience using AI, advanced analytics, and digital tools for strategic analysis and decision support
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English
- Demonstrated market-specific knowledge and network in biosimilars
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate confidently across many functions in a mid-sized organization
- High degree of ownership and self-responsibility, paired with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Tasks
- Identify new portfolio candidates based on commercial attractiveness, therapeutic area, competitive environment, and development requirements
- Develop portfolio prioritization frameworks aligned with strategic, financial, and market-driven objectives
- Evaluate portfolio performance, value creation, and risk to optimize the company’s product and project portfolio
- Prepare strategic recommendations for the Board and Executive Management
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the global and regional biosimilars market, including competitive landscapes, pricing dynamics, regulatory trends, and access considerations
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, lifecycle strategies, and partnerships
- Leverage an established industry network within the biosimilars ecosystem
- Apply AI-based tools and advanced analytics for market analysis, forecasting, scenario simulation, and decision support
- Lead development of robust business cases, including valuation, scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and risk assessments
- Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure consistency with financial planning and corporate targets
- Translate complex analyses into clear, management-ready insights
- Manage strategic, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment, transparency, and execution discipline
- Support process improvements in commercial functions such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Licensing, and Finance
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into strategic and portfolio-related processes
- Support the CBO and the Board in strategic planning, portfolio decisions, and ad-hoc analysis
