Director Operations, Pharma & Consumer Health(m/w/x)
GMP-compliant manufacturing and packaging leadership for drug delivery technologies. 10+ years managerial experience in pharma, ideally solid dose forms, required. Relocation support, work with global pharma clients.
Requirements
- University degree in life sciences, engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, logistics or equivalent experience
- 10+ years managerial experience in pharmaceutical environment, ideally with manufacturing and packaging knowledge of solid dose forms
- 10+ years experience in management positions
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement/OEE practices with strong management and leadership principles
- Commercially orientated with excellent interpersonal skills and experience delivering change management programmes
- Strong experience with Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Lean and Six Sigma or similar efficiency improvement programmes preferred
- Fluency in English and German
- Ability to be on site 5 days a week
Tasks
- Lead safe, GMP-compliant, cost-efficient manufacturing and packaging processes
- Supervise and develop Heads of Production for Manufacturing and Packaging
- Establish and maintain appropriate organizational structure and staffing levels
- Drive change initiatives and foster associate involvement
- Develop and implement KPIs for cost efficiency, safety, quality, and compliance
- Build and develop a committed team for order fulfillment and business processes
- Plan and control order and personnel scheduling
- Implement and share best practices for continuous improvement
- Develop and execute process and capital improvement plans
- Collaborate with Black Belts/Lean Six Sigma associates
- Ensure cGMP and EHS compliance in all production activities
- Serve as a member of the site executive team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
