Tasks

  • Lead the full lifecycle of strategic engineering projects
  • Establish project scope and define boundaries
  • Prepare project charters with clear roles
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
  • Formulate budgets and manage capital expenditure requests
  • Create resource plans aligned with workload forecasts
  • Implement management stage-gate reviews for key milestones
  • Assess risks and formulate mitigation strategies
  • Define project governance and communication protocols
  • Coordinate project teams through commissioning and qualification
  • Provide regular status updates to the steering committee
  • Oversee handover activities for successful project completion
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement
  • Coach junior project managers on strategic initiatives
  • Guide implementation of global standards and tools
  • Liaise with global functions to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with lean management system methodologies
  • Monitor strategic projects led by site engineering teams
