Development Planner(m/w/x)
Developing data center programs and integrated master schedules for EMEA projects. Primavera P6 and early-stage development planning expertise essential. Above market compensation, generous paid leave.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data centre or large-scale construction project planning
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and schedule development (essential)
- Experience in preconstruction / development phase planning
- Experience developing programmes from limited information (e.g. early-stage designs, drawings, or tender documentation)
- Experience in multi-project / regional (EMEA) environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of permitting, infrastructure, and power-related constraints
- Understanding of DfMA and modular construction approaches
- Experience in QSRA or risk-based scheduling is an advantage
- Experience working in MEP-heavy environments or comparable industries such as oil & gas, life sciences, or healthcare infrastructure is beneficial
- Experience within contractor (GC) environments, particularly at tender stage, is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple projects across regions

Tasks
- Plan and develop data centre programmes
- Maintain Integrated Master Schedules for EMEA projects
- Define programme logic for various project phases
- Establish programme assumptions and constraints
- Develop scenario-based programmes for strategy
- Build programmes from early-stage inputs
- Enhance benchmarking databases for EMEA projects
- Translate benchmarking data into planning templates
- Drive planning standardisation across the portfolio
- Communicate benchmarking insights to stakeholders
- Integrate permitting strategies into programmes
- Coordinate with teams for realistic permit timelines
- Manage risks related to authority approvals
- Support GC tendering processes
- Challenge contractor schedules for alignment
- Participate in planning workshops with contractors
- Integrate long-lead items into programme logic
- Support schedule risk assessments
- Identify key risks in design and permitting
- Develop what-if scenarios for delays
- Propose mitigation strategies for programme optimisation
- Act as central planning contact for EMEA projects
- Collaborate with Project Directors and teams
- Facilitate cross-project alignment and reviews
- Ensure knowledge sharing across the portfolio
- Integrate DfMA and modular construction strategies
- Assess offsite manufacturing timelines
- Support programme optimisation through modularisation
- Ensure schedules comply with VDC standards
- Perform schedule health checks
- Maintain consistency in WBS and milestones
- Support continuous improvement of planning processes
- Maintain records of programme assumptions and risks
- Prepare executive-level summaries and reports
- Provide structured planning input for decision-making
