Development Manager(m/w/x)
As a Development Manager, you will oversee daily operations and ensure the sub team meets project milestones. You will facilitate communication, track progress, and address challenges, all while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience in project management, preferably in game development or a related industry
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow and enforce established processes and workflows
- Passion for high-quality game development and cross-disciplinary teamwork
- Fluent English skills and willingness to relocate to Frankfurt am Main, Germany
- Experience working on live-service or GaaS projects
- Previous experience with CryEngine or other AAA game engines
- Background in production, design, or programming
- Experience coordinating hybrid or distributed teams
- Interest in online multiplayer or horror-themed games
Tasks
- Drive execution of delivery plans
- Coordinate daily operations for the sub team
- Ensure tasks align with project schedules
- Track progress against tasks and timelines
- Identify and address issues or blockers
- Facilitate collaboration within the sub team
- Maintain communication across project teams
- Ensure adherence to operational models
- Provide feedback for workflow improvements
- Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders
- Coordinate with other Development Managers
- Identify risks and escalate significant issues
- Collaborate with QA to maintain quality standards
- Support the team in meeting stakeholder expectations
