Requirements
- •Master's degree in science and engineering
- •Specialization in laser physics, electronic engineering, or biomedical engineering with focus on optronics
- •Minimum 6 years of experience in development of laser and electrical devices
- •Advanced knowledge of electronics
- •Advanced knowledge of optical laser systems
- •Experience in design implementation and characterization of high-performance laser systems
- •Experience in design and development of power and digital electronic boards
- •Knowledge in EMI/EMC design rules and electrical safety
- •Experience in creation of electrical circuit diagrams
- •Programming skills in Python, C/C++, and LabVIEW
- •Experience in creating technical reference documentation
- •Knowledge in requirements and systems engineering
- •Experience in performing Design Transfer to production
- •Creativity and analytical skills
- •Assertiveness
- •Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- •Motivation and creativity, ability to think outside the box
- •Ability to function independently of direct supervision
- •Knowledge of standards: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 14971, IEC 62366, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2

- •Knowledge in ERP system; preferably Infor SyteLine
- •Knowledge in Altium, Eagle, OrCAD PSpice, Multiphysics simulation, MATLAB
- •Knowledge in requirement management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or CodeBeamer
- •Knowledge in building PCB prototypes and system cabling

- •Construct and test laser systems that utilize state-of-the-art technology
- •Collaborate with engineers from various departments, including systems and quality engineering
- •Deliver innovative solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements
- •Create power and control electronic boards for complex medical laser devices
- •Design electrical circuit and wiring diagrams for medical laser devices
- •Develop safety concepts to ensure product functional safety
- •Implement cost reduction strategies for product development
- •Gather and define technical requirements and specifications
- •Create component and system specifications, including risk analysis and test reports
- •Perform verification tests for electrical and laser components
- •Maintain laser systems to ensure stable operations throughout the product lifecycle
- •Troubleshoot electrical and laser-related issues
- •Execute engineering tasks during prototype setup and start-up
- •Coordinate with third-party suppliers and contractors
- •Monitor technological trends in laser, photonics, and electronics
