Requirements

  • Studies in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or comparable field
  • Several years professional experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design, preferably automotive
  • Proven experience in Design-for-Test (DfT) for AMS circuits, including production test concepts and fault coverage strategies
  • Strong knowledge of analog circuit design (amplifiers, data converters, sensor interfaces, power management blocks)
  • Solid understanding of automotive standards and requirements (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262, functional safety concepts)
  • Experience with test cost optimization, yield improvement, and quality metrics in high-volume production
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis, and characterization techniques
  • Strong analytical thinking and clear communication across disciplines
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with design, verification, product engineering, and test engineering teams
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken)

Tasks

  • Define and implement robust DfT architectures for automotive ICs
  • Drive test strategy from concept to production
  • Ensure compliance with automotive quality and safety standards
  • Introduce and maintain a pipeline for test innovations
  • Improve coverage, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Set and achieve best-in-class targets for test metrics
  • Analyze production and characterization data
  • Identify and address yield limitations
  • Support and influence early testability in analog design
  • Develop reuse concepts for DfT structures and methods
  • Optimize ATE test programs and qualification flows
  • Contribute to functional safety concepts
  • Align with ISO 26262 standards
