Data Science Consultant - Statista Healthcare(m/w/x)
Developing and maintaining ranking/rating databases for healthcare clients. 4+ years in applied statistics with Python/SQL skills essential. 10 days work from abroad, free Perplexity Enterprise access.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, modeling, or applied statistics
- Proven skills in Python and SQL
- Proven experience with data visualization and BI tools, including dashboard design and storytelling with data
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data wrangling
- Experience working with cloud-based data environments (AWS preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
- Basic understanding of healthcare KPIs, quality metrics, or benchmarking concepts is advantageous
- Fluent in English, German a plus
- Highly structured, curious, and motivated to work in an international and cross-functional environment
Tasks
- Support the maintenance and development of ranking and rating databases
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability of data
- Implement and optimize data pipelines for automated workflows
- Collaborate on data pilots and benchmarking projects
- Design metrics and analyze scoring results with clients
- Integrate and standardize external datasets for unified use
- Develop and document data models and scoring frameworks
- Support the development of the Unified Health Database
- Perform internal analyses to enhance data quality
- Ensure data validation and reproducibility through QA checks
- Contribute ideas for new data-driven healthcare products
