- 3+ years as data engineer
- Expertise in fraud detection systems or similar
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in SQL
- Knowledge of orchestration tools
- Knowledge of transformation tools
- Strong knowledge of database design
- Strong knowledge of query optimisation
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
- Knowledge of columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse)
- Experience building production data pipelines
- Experience maintaining production data pipelines
- Familiarity leveraging machine learning models
- Familiarity with model registries (e.g., MLflow)
- Understanding of CI/CD processes for data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms
- Ability to support model serving components
- Familiarity with statistical techniques for fraud analysis
- Familiarity with statistical techniques for fraud reporting
- Experience with Git
- Experience with version control in collaborative workflows
- Good fit even if not meeting 100% of requirements
