Requirements

  • Strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related IT field (minimum 4–6 semesters completed)
  • Technical skills in data engineering, analytics, pipelines, and data strategy
  • Basic knowledge of data governance, quality, and data architecture
  • Independent work and initiative leadership
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for continuous improvement in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps
  • Familiarity with OT systems (PLC, HMI) or industrial automation
  • Knowledge of metadata management and data catalog tools
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals)

  • Assess current data landscape
  • Align data with business objectives
  • Support data strategy development
  • Define data management standards
  • Collaborate with QA and digital teams
  • Identify high-value OT and QA lab data
  • Implement data pipelines from PLC and HMI
  • Support data modeling and pipeline interfacing
  • Assist with data governance processes
  • Manage metadata and access controls
  • Establish best practices for data publishing
  • Create training materials on data management
  • Promote data catalog usage
  • Gather requirements from data stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality and usability
  • Participate in cross-functional projects
  • Document and report progress regularly
