Requirements
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent qualification
- Sound professional working experience in security engineering roles
- Strong understanding of security principles related to open-source software
- Strong knowledge of technologies, protocols, systems, and cybersecurity tools
- Familiarity with cyber security standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, SOC2
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues
- Team player with great communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in German is a plus
Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls
- Plan and manage cybersecurity tools like XDR and SIEM
- Collaborate with security architects and the SOC
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Perform penetration tests to identify risks
- Support incident detection and response activities
- Investigate security event data and alerts
- Conduct forensic analysis and implement remediation actions
- Integrate security requirements into technology solutions
- Develop and maintain system documentation and guidelines
- Stay updated on security trends and best practices
Work Experience

- Vocational certificationOR
