Description

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will design and implement security measures while collaborating with teams to protect technology. Your role involves conducting assessments, responding to incidents, and staying ahead of emerging security threats.

Requirements

• •University degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent qualification
• •Sound professional working experience in security engineering roles
• •Strong understanding of security principles related to open-source software
• •Strong knowledge of technologies, protocols, systems, and cybersecurity tools
• •Familiarity with cyber security standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, SOC2
• •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues
• •Team player with great communication skills
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in German is a plus

Tasks

• •Design, implement, and maintain security controls
• •Plan and manage cybersecurity tools like XDR and SIEM
• •Collaborate with security architects and the SOC
• •Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
• •Perform penetration tests to identify risks
• •Support incident detection and response activities
• •Investigate security event data and alerts
• •Conduct forensic analysis and implement remediation actions
• •Integrate security requirements into technology solutions
• •Develop and maintain system documentation and guidelines
• •Stay updated on security trends and best practices
