Description

In this role, you will be at the forefront of customs and export control, collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and optimize processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting policies, managing audits, and serving as a key contact for all customs-related inquiries.

Requirements

• •Degree in customs administration, business law, business administration, or comparable qualification
• •Several years of professional experience in customs and export control
• •Good knowledge of SAP GTS and/or other customs-relevant systems
• •Independent, solution- and results-oriented working style
• •Strong teamwork and communication skills in an international environment
• •Very good command of German and English

Tasks

• •Manage customs, export control, and excise duty matters
• •Collaborate with Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and IT
• •Draft, review, and update customs and export control policies
• •Analyze and optimize customs processes
• •Focus on preference calculation and special customs procedures
• •Serve as the main contact for authorities, employees, customers, and suppliers
• •Oversee customs and foreign trade audits and inspections
• •Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits
