Requirements
- Solid experience building and operating cloud-native systems
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised applications
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Ability to debug and resolve infrastructure/application issues
- Comfort working across build and operate, not just feature development
- Clear, structured thinking; simplifies rather than complicates
- Experience with OpenShift or VMware Tanzu
- Familiarity with data-heavy systems (OpenSearch, Kafka, databases)
- Experience supporting enterprise customers or regulated environments
- Exposure to CI/CD, infrastructure as code, deployment automation
Tasks
- Standardize Customer Cloud onboarding and deployment processes
- Build automation and tooling for faster environment setup
- Design and evolve deployment patterns for stable environments
- Operate across AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, and Tanzu
- Enable technical pre-sales by answering technical questions
- Provide guidance on architecture and deployment approaches
- Partner with support and engineering to resolve complex issues
- Develop runbooks, tooling, and documentation from solutions
- Reduce repeat issues and minimize engineering involvement in support
- Transform one-off solutions into automation and scalable systems
- Own systems and patterns for Customer Cloud scalability
