Requirements

  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Analytical experience (3-5 years) in credit- or audit-related fields from commercial/investment bank/insurance company, accountancy firm, buy-side firm, rating agency, or similar
  • First university degree, preferably with actuarial, accounting or auditing qualifications
  • Strong analytical and reasoning capacities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and AI applications
  • Proficiency in another language, e.g. French or Russian, would be helpful
  • Strong command of insurance financial statement analysis, accounting standards and solvency requirements
  • Ability to cope with time pressure and work to deadlines while adhering to tight procedures

Tasks

  • Monitor portfolio of issuer ratings
  • Prepare rating committee documentation
  • Write comprehensive rating reports
  • Participate in credit rating committees
  • Interact with issuer contacts and senior management
  • Publish issuer and sector-specific research
  • Support colleagues in responding to external queries
