- 5+ years experience in control and automation
- Experience leading small to medium projects
- Strong verbal communication and technical writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Interest in process control and automation
- Desirable Functional Safety or ATEX certification
- Experience with PLC and DCS systems
- SEP E1 qualification or equivalent
- Good level of English
- Optional experience in network and IT systems
- Optional experience integrating control and IT
- Interest in the role
Tasks
- Lead small to medium-sized projects
- Coordinate with departments, managers, and vendors
- Contribute to cost estimates and schedules
- Create data sheets and instrument indexes
- Perform sizing calculations for meters and valves
- Develop instrument material requisition packages
- Evaluate bids and select control equipment
- Design detailed instrument installations
- Authenticate project drawings and documents
- Support 3D model development and reviews
- Develop control philosophies and narratives
- Inform design basis and system architecture
- Participate in and resolve HAZOP items
- Generate shutdown keys and cause-and-effect charts
- Review and mark up vendor documentation
- Provide technical support to clients
- Offer on-site construction support
