Continuous Improvement Specialist(m/w/x)
Deploying continuous improvement strategy and facilitating Kaizen events for industrial operations. Workshop facilitation and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt experience required. Flexible work practices, job bike program.
Requirements
- Master of Business and Engineering or comparable degree
- Experience in workshop facilitation and leading interdisciplinary project teams
- Several years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Management, or similar position (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)
- Strong knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement, CIP methods (e.g. Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Analysis and Visualization) or similar position
- High analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and independent work style with high initiative
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of ERP systems like SAP
- Fluent German and English communication
- Preference for severely disabled individuals in case of equal suitability
Tasks
- Support continuous improvement strategy deployment
- Promote culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Mentor and coach teams for operational excellence
- Lead projects to improve and sustain business performance
- Scrutinize processes for productivity and cost improvements
- Identify and remove roadblocks for CI initiatives
- Oversee conflicting priorities in CI projects
- Promote and lead improvement programs and projects
- Use hands-on approaches (Gemba, Kaizen, Lean)
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement
- Report to management on CI progress and challenges
- Present CI measures in international exchanges
- Disseminate continuous improvement mindset and culture
- Guide behavioral change for performance improvement
