Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of relevant experience in compliance
  • •Strong knowledge and practical experience in financial crime prevention, particularly German and European regulations
  • •Proven leadership experience
  • •Professional-level German and excellent English, both spoken and written
  • •Strong analytical skills and structured, independent working style
  • •Experience in banking or fintech
  • •Legal degree or similar qualification
  • •Practical understanding of business operations and risk
  • •Familiarity with frameworks such as design thinking and project management

Tasks

  • •Lead and develop the German Compliance team
  • •Shape and oversee compliance processes
  • •Own the strategic and operational direction of the compliance monitoring program
  • •Represent iwoca in German and Luxembourg regulatory forums
  • •Serve as the RC Function for the Luxembourg entity
  • •Ensure compliance with AML/CTF and Financial Crime requirements
  • •Evolve internal policies continuously
  • •Monitor legal and regulatory changes
  • •Share relevant compliance insights
  • •Conduct regular risk assessments for compliance and AML/CTF
  • •Adjust policies as products and markets evolve
  • •Promote a culture of continuous improvement in compliance
