Commodity Purchaser Electronics(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will oversee the Electronics commodity throughout its lifecycle, engaging in strategic purchasing and collaborating with various teams. Daily tasks include negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and analyzing market trends to drive efficiency in agriculture.

Requirements

• •Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• •Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing with knowledge of contract law
• •Strong project management skills and high technical affinity in electronics
• •Extensive negotiation experience and confidence in discussions
• •Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking with independent, flexible, and structured working style
• •Confident communication at internal and external management levels
• •Experience in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
• •Strong communicator and team player with business-fluent English; French skills advantageous
• •Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• •Willingness to travel as required

Tasks

• •Take full responsibility for the Electronics commodity within a defined sub-cluster
• •Manage strategic purchasing activities aligned with the global Electronics strategy
• •Collaborate daily with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams
• •Prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations independently
• •Conclude contracts and framework supply agreements
• •Support achievement of Cost, Quality, and Delivery (C-Q-D) targets in development projects
• •Involve high-performing suppliers early in projects
• •Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
• •Analyze market developments to identify risks and opportunities
