Description

In this role, you will actively source and negotiate with suppliers while managing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal teams and enhancing procurement processes through automation.

Requirements

• •Higher education or equivalent professional experience
• •Technical or manufacturing background
• •Willingness to travel occasionally
• •Confidence and enthusiasm
• •Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• •Ability to perform under pressure
• •Ability to meet tight deadlines
• •Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (MM module)
• •Good knowledge of HSE requirements
• •Experience from the sealing industry, packings, and gaskets
• •Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Tasks

• •Source and evaluate suppliers
• •Negotiate and qualify new suppliers
• •Conduct supplier visits as needed
• •Manage RfQs and conduct price comparisons
• •Place purchase orders based on MRP or approved requisitions
• •Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and internal stakeholders
• •Participate in project meetings
• •Monitor and expedite purchase orders for timely delivery
• •Report on purchase order status
• •Maintain and update production and material documentation
• •Improve procurement efficiency through SAP automation tools
• •Ensure accurate ERP data maintenance
