Coffee Sales Trader(m/w/x)
Global sales strategy execution for Green and Soluble Coffee, developing new accounts for agricultural products trader. Fluency in English and German, 3+ years in coffee trading or green coffee sales required. Hybrid work available.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, or Commodity Trading
- Fluency in English and German; knowledge of Russian or Polish is a significant asset
- 3+ years of experience in coffee trading, merchandising, or green coffee sales
- Basic understanding of coffee sustainability programs and certifications
- Green coffee quality knowledge is a plus
- Interest in international logistics, trade, or commodities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload under pressure
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate work with multiple stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Tasks
- Execute the global coffee sales strategy for Green and Soluble Coffee in the assigned region
- Develop new customer accounts and nurture long-term partnerships with existing clients
- Support business development initiatives, including new trade flows and sustainability-focused solutions
- Promote LDC's products and value proposition to key customers
- Assess regional market needs and provide commercial solutions
- Manage day-to-day customer relationships and respond to inquiries
- Maintain accurate spot inventory and commercial records to support decisions
- Coordinate end-to-end execution of trades, including logistics and quality controls
- Implement cost-efficient logistics solutions to enhance service quality
- Collaborate with traders, execution teams, and logistics providers to improve efficiency
- Gather and analyze market intelligence on supply, demand, and pricing trends
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for trading teams
