  • 5+ years direct experience with Chinese local automotive OEM customers

  • Deep knowledge of regional automotive markets (EMEA or North America, South America experience preferred)
  • Understanding of local competition and customer landscape with 5+ years’ experience in the region

Tasks

  • Lead all COEM business development activities in the region.
  • Seek and consolidate all COEM activities in the region.
  • Identify business opportunities.
  • Develop strategies for business pursuit and awards.
  • Develop local relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Connect with COEM HQ relationships.
  • Build Tenneco's global brand and confidence.
  • Showcase Tenneco's capabilities to AMER/EMEA COEM teams.
  • Lead workshops, tech days, and roadshows.
  • Act as the internal customer champion.
  • Understand customer needs.
  • Develop tailored services to educate internal teams.
  • Maximize product value for customers.
  • Lead RFQ responses by analyzing requirements.
  • Co-develop technical and financial proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts for a high win-rate.
  • Monitor OEM purchasing plans and communications.
  • Target bid opportunities.
  • Work closely with regional cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain strong links between China and regional teams.
  • Actively monitor customer, market, and competition developments.
