Requirements

  • Training as an industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, grinder, or similar training
  • Several years of professional experience in grinding/polishing/lapping
  • High level of quality awareness
  • Good knowledge of reading drawings
  • Handling of common measuring equipment
  • Flexibility, motivation, ability to work in a team, independence
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, Documentum, MS Office programmes
  • Very good knowledge of German (spoken and written)
  • Value for order and cleanliness

Tasks

  • Grind metal components on CNC flat and cylindrical machines
  • Polish and lap metal components
  • Process production orders on schedule
  • Adhere to quality guidelines per EagleBurgmann standards
  • Ensure the quality of manufactured components independently
  • Support the team with various tasks
  • Fill in for colleagues in deburring, polishing, or washing as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvements
  • Pursue further training as required

  • Vocational certification
