Requirements
- University degree in economics, business, finance, or law
- Strong business acumen and analytical abilities
- Aptitude for translating sustainability requirements into advice
- Ability to maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Capability to communicate with C-level executives
- Customer-focused, proactive, and energetic team player
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Fluency in English
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- 2-3 years of project management experience
- 1-2 years of functional leadership experience
- Proven interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Technical understanding of climate change
- Understanding of (re)insurance value chain
- Know-how of sustainability reporting frameworks
- Strong communication skills for sustainability topics
- Can-do attitude and quality execution focus
Tasks
- Lead projects for sustainability and climate change initiatives
- Manage sustainability knowledge and internal communication
- Develop and review sustainability strategies and targets
- Chair sustainability working groups for EU Taxonomy and CSRD
- Act as the management interface for sustainability matters
- Coordinate responses to reinsurance-specific regulatory inquiries
- Manage and execute EU Taxonomy reporting
- Shape reinsurance content for sustainability reports and ratings
- Engage with sustainability communities across the Allianz Group
- Build a strong internal sustainability network
- Manage Corporate Citizenship activities and annual reporting
- Ensure quality of environmental management and reporting
- Organize the annual Allianz Climate Risk Award
