Description

In this role, you will support the delivery of plasma center services by ensuring donor safety and compliance while managing equipment and maintaining accurate records. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve hands-on tasks such as venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process.

Requirements

• •High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
• •Minimum of 18 months’ experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• •General knowledge of center procedures
• •Ability to perform basic math calculations

Tasks

• •Provide support for plasma center services
• •Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process
• •Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures
• •Sample, test, ship, and store plasma accurately and timely
• •Calibrate equipment and verify maintenance documentation
• •Respond to equipment alarms and donor issues
• •Record donor data in the electronic information management system
• •Maintain a clean and efficient work environment
• •Ensure sufficient operating supplies and forms are available
• •Follow Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies
• •Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) procedures
