End-to-end ownership of ophthalmic lens category strategy at global ophthalmic industry leader. 3-5 years optical industry experience with strong ophthalmic lens expertise required. 13th month salary, annual product budget.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in the optical industry, ideally in store management, training, or comparable role in product development, product management, or product lifecycle management (PLM)
- Strong expertise in ophthalmic lenses, including lens technologies, manufacturers, materials, and production processes
- Solid understanding of retail workflows, customer needs, and store operations; experience from a store or academy environment is a strong advantage
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into simple, clear guidance for different internal stakeholders
- Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills, with confidence in working with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on mindset, high service orientation, and strong enthusiasm for innovation and technology
- Experience in supplier relationship management and strategic procurement is a plus
Tasks
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Lenses category
- Build and steer the strategic framework for product and partner portfolio design
- Take end-to-end ownership of the category from concept to end-of-life
- Provide expert guidance on category management and procurement decisions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute the category strategy
- Lead the creation and evolution of the lenses portfolio using data insights
- Develop long-term strategies for the lenses category and portfolio optimization
- Select and manage key global supplier relationships and internal stakeholders
