Campervan Technician(m/w/x)
Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems for rental campervan fleet, including light bodywork. Certified automotive training and 5 years mechanical/electrical repair experience required. Transition opportunities to offices abroad.
Requirements
- Certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or similar automotive program
- At least 5 years proven experience in mechanical/electrical repairs
- Experience in campervans (plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree (preferred)
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- German language skills (plus)
- Eligibility to work in Germany
- Valid driver's license
- Confidence in driving a campervan (mandatory)
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
Tasks
- Inspect vehicles systematically
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, heating, and water system problems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform light bodywork repairs
- Replace lightbulbs, windows, and side mirrors
- Substitute and repair campervan spare parts
- Troubleshoot and repair campervan appliances
- Maintain and develop external partner relationships
- Coordinate vehicle interventions with suppliers and regional teams
- Update vehicle information systems following established procedures
- Move campervans between vendors, parking, and depots
- Organize and clean depot equipment and spare parts
- Maintain updated spare parts inventory systems
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for customers
- Assist with incoming reservations
- Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Receive and collect shipments and supplies
- Organize supplies in storage
- Register item consumption and new orders
- Maintain depot equipment, extras, and consumables
