Requirements

  • Vocational training in technical field
  • Technician further training or professional experience in CNC/CAM programming
  • Very good knowledge of 3-/5‑axis machining (milling, turning, complete machining)
  • Solid experience with CAM systems (preferably TopSolid)
  • Desirable: Experience with tool data management and ERP systems (TDM Systems, TopSolid, SAP)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, 3D models, tolerance specifications
  • Confident handling of 3D CAD systems and working with CAD data (model validation, collision detection, design changes)
  • Structured, independent working style, teamwork skills, strong responsibility

Tasks

  • Create, optimize, and maintain CNC machining programs using TopSolid CAM
  • Define and apply efficient manufacturing strategies from 3D CAD data
  • Select tools, cutting parameters, and workholding equipment
  • Consider cost, tool life, and machining quality
  • Use and maintain tool data in the TDM system
  • Participate in standardizing machining strategies, templates, and program structures
  • Document and improve programming standards
  • Contribute to digitalization projects in production
  • Coordinate with design, work preparation, production, QA, and tool presetting
  • Order and specify workholding equipment with fixture and tooling design
  • Support the introduction of new tools, machines, and technologies
  • Train and support production employees on program changes and technology
