Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • •Experience in CAD design and advanced process technologies
  • •Experience with EDA tools
  • •Ability to explain technical information simply
  • •Experience with Python, Tcl, SKILL, and Perl
  • •Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
  • •Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • •Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills
  • •Teamwork skills and clear technical communication
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor design industry standards

Tasks

  • •Support and maintain IC design CAD tools
  • •Manage Synopsys and Cadence simulation software
  • •Maintain and update CAD libraries and databases
  • •Develop automation scripts using Python, Perl, and Tcl
  • •Create custom design processes with Cadence SKILL
  • •Evaluate new tools and resolve bugs with vendors
  • •Build infrastructure for new process technologies
  • •Refine design flows based on engineer feedback
  • •Troubleshoot technical issues for CAD users
  • •Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • •Diagnose and resolve user technical problems
  • •Ensure compliance with industry design standards
  • •Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • •Organize and manage technical documentation
