Cabin Stress Engineer(m/w/x)
Stress analysis and strength verifications for aircraft cabin interiors. Experience in structural analysis of metallic structures required. HVV Proficard contribution, personal development support.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable technical field
- Knowledge of structural analysis of metallic structures
- Experience in stress analysis and structural verification
- Confident use of Microsoft Office 365
- Very good command of English (B2)
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of NASTRAN is preferred
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g. Windchill or equivalent)
- Knowledge of design tools such as CATIA V5 or CREO
- Familiarity with aviation standards and certification guidelines
- Good command of German (B2)
Tasks
- Perform stress analysis and strength verifications
- Support stress test plan preparation
- Execute stress-related deliverables
- Create verification and certification documents
- Comply with applicable standards and regulations
- Conduct finite element substantiation activities
- Validate calculation methods and test results
- Document analysis assumptions and conclusions
- Address review comments and rework feedback
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
